Hi, we’re Julia & Josiah
New Jersey / NYC Photographers
Maternity, Newborn, Family, and Couples
I’m so excited you’re here. I’m Julia that’’s my husband, Josiah. We’re currently based in Hoboken, New Jersey. We were one of those people who left the city after many beautiful years of living there.
We currently serve the larger New Jersey area and New York City, but can always drive/fly/train/bus over to meet you where you are.
I’ll be your main photographer. I started my photography career taking photos of friends and having an active food blog (it’s less active now though) before fully dedicating my time to portraits (maternity, newborn, family, and couples). I love taking photos of people, capturing their emotions, and using natural light.
Josiah has experience with events photography, engagement shoots, and loves landscapes. He’s great at capturing candids and detail shots, which is why I love bringing him along to some of our sessions. He does a lot of behind the scenes work with me to help our small business too.
Combined, we have 10+ years of photography experience. Photography has always been a hobby of ours. During our early stages of dating, we did a lot of street photography together to challenge each other creatively. Once the pandemic hit, we put our cameras away - it was a challenging time for everyone. Now that everyone’s getting back into the swing of life and we’re meeting people again, we decided to seriously start-up our photography business together.
So here we are - your NJ/NYC photographers ready to take photos of your important life stages. From maternity, newborn, family, to couples - we’d love to work with you.
Don’t forget to check-out our portfolio to make sure our style of photography fits what you’re looking for. Before you make a decision to move forward, fill out this contact form so we can chat and get to know each other a bit. We value photography, your time, and our time, so I want to make sure we’re a good fit for each other.
Hope to meet you soon.

Some of our favorite things
Our rescue furbaby, Rocket. We adopted her through an international rescue organization. She was about to be euthanized because no one would take her.
Going out to eat, trying new restaurants. We especially love dumplings, sushi, tacos, and quesadillas!
Going hiking. This was one of the rare times we brought our camera - we usually like to unplug and only carry water and snacks!
